Road Cabotage in the European Union
Cabotage involves the transport of goods within a country other than the country of vehicle registration, within the European Union. AMG Trans provides legal cabotage services using vans up to 3.5T, in full compliance with the current Mobility Package regulations and Regulation (EC) No 1072/2009.
We operate in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, and other EU countries, ensuring both documentation and operational safety.

Legal conditions:
Maximum of 3 cabotage operations within 7 days after international unloading
4-day standstill period before the next cabotage in the same country
Additional requirements for transport up to 3.5T since 2022 (license, tachograph, SENT registration / EU VAT number)
